Yotsume Katazome (Stencil) Calendar 2023

Katazome is a Japanese method of dyeing fabric and paper - "Kata" meaning "mold" and "zome" meaning "to dye" - using a resist paste applied through a stencil, typically a rice flour mixture. The Yotsume calendar 2023 highlights various producers and seasonal life style in Japan such as New Year's festival dance, oyster producer, mushroom producer, somen noodle producer, summer ritual at Shinto shrine, etc.  Each month, different types of paper is used, so you can enjoy different kind of paper texture as well as Japanese scenery every month!
